This course is based on the particular needs of early childhood students and/or community. A forum will be provided for early childhood professionals to share their unique knowledge and skills with students. Recent topics have included: Infant and Toddler Language and Literacy Development and; Autism. Other topics are: Sensory Integration Dysfunction; Gifted Children; Gender Issues in Early Childhood Education; Health and Safety in Early Childhood Settings as well as; Anti-Bias and Multicultural Education. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: ECE 110 Introduction to Early Education or permission of the department chair.
