This course constitutes the first half of the CHP capstone sequence. Students review research methods and begin to develop their Senior Thesis projects. Particular attention is paid to modes of writing ranging from thick description to interpretation to the art of persuasion. The course also includes workshop, peer review, and group critiques of writing samples Open to CHP majors with junior standing or by permission of the instructor. 3 credits.
