Spoken American English for non-native speakers at the beginning level. Development of oral fluency and accuracy by integrating speaking, listening, and pronunciation skills. Practice in recognition and production of sounds, stress, rhythm and intonation patterns. Understanding and practice of basic language functions in oral communication. (This course is not acceptable for credits toward a degree.) Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: ESL Placement Test or departmental approval. Corequisites: ESL 103 and ESL 105.
