This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of computer networking including network topology, design, implementation, troubleshooting support, and security. Students will investigate hardware, software and applications that relate to configuring Local Area Network (LAN) and a Wide Area Network (WAN). Popular network protocols and network operating systems will be covered in detail. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: CST 119 Computer Concepts and Applications.
