A writing-workshop course designed to prepare inexperienced writers for the critical thinking and academic writing that are the foundations of English 110. Students learn to write essays that are focused, full, and coherent. Students also learn to edit their writing according to the conventions of standard written English. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: Placement Test.
