Description:
English reading and writing skills for non-native speakers at the low-intermediate level. Further development of reading skills and practice in reading low-intermediate texts. Focuses on sentence types and more complex sentence patterns. Introduction to prewriting strategies and paragraph structure. Further practice in academic writing skills. (This course is not acceptable for credits toward a degree.) Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisites: ESL 003, ESL 004, and ESL 005, ESL Placement Test or Chairperson approval. Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in ESL 103 and ESL 104, or Chairperson approval.
