This course gives students a glimpse of what students can expect to learn at a police academy while covering topics such as traffic stops, radar operation, accident investigation, arrest procedures, searching, and police report writing. Emphasis is placed on the ethical considerations in police work and distinguishing media myth from police work reality. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: CRJ 111 Administration of Justice
