Description:
This course is directed towards the student pursuing an emphasis in graphic arts. It considers the drawn or painted image as a means of communication utilizing narrative imagery and pictorial illusion and space. Students will solve illustrative problems relating to magazine articles, posters, packaging, book covers, children’s picture books, and other materials. Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisites: ART 105 Introduction to Two-Dimensional Design, ART 115 Beginning Drawing, and an art history elective.
