This course will provide an intense period of active application of the knowledge and practical surgical techniques acquired throughout the Surgical Technology curriculum. The goal of this clinical rotation is to provide the surgical technology student with an experience as close to an operating room staff member as possible, including extensive practice in general surgical cases, thus promoting attainment of an "entry-level" technical skill set by semester end. This clinical practicum requires 36 hours per week throughout a 15- week semester. Clinical ( 540.00) Prerequisites: SRG-112 Corequisites: SRG-212
