The goal of this course is to facilitate student mastery of the generic practice principles inherent to the scrub role. The course is constructed to reinforce basic surgical anatomy while familiarizing the student with the standards of instrument handling, equipment maintenance and procedural techniques required to assure safe and effective operating room conduct.
