This course is designed to provide the student with a solid introduction to perioperative practice standards, and the contributions that related hospital departments make to support those standards. Obervational experiences will give students an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge gained in their surgical courses, to practical patient-care situations. This practicum requires 21 hours per week throughout a 15 week semester. Clinical ( 315.00) Prerequisites: SRG-101, SRG-105 and HPE-181 Corequisites: SRG-111 and SRG-110
