This course presents the basics of clinical optics. Students will learn objective and subjective refractometry techniques, fogging techniques, cross cylinder, and duochrome tests. The course introduces the student to the exam room, the proper handling of equipment and how to perform a basic workup. Two lecture hours and two lab hours weekly.
