English Composition II is the second semester of a twosemester course. Its purpose is to develop more fully the reading, writing, and speaking ability of the composition student to build on the basis of English Composition I. English Composition II will especially stress argumentative writing and will provide the student with a strong basis in the rhetoric of argumentation.
