Grammar Fundamentals I is designed to fulfill one major objective: proficiency in the grammar skills necessary for competent work in Writing Fundamentals II (DHH-052) or English Composition I (ENG-101). The course content is closely related to materials taught in Writing Fundamentals I. It is specifically designed with the special grammatical instructional needs of deaf and hard of hearing students in mind, i.e., American Sign Language's relationship to English and ESL methodologies for the deaf.
