This course is designed for students who have an interest in health care professions. The course will provide students with an overview of the health care industry. Content will include an overview of careers, salary, professional organizations, educational preparation, credentialing, career mobility, and employment projections for the various health care professions. In addition, students will receive techniques to improve study and test taking skills. Students will explore health care ethics, legal responsibilities, health care reform and health care organizations.
