This intermediate course is designed for nonnative speakers of English who wish to develop more correct pronunciation with improved intonation. It addresses students' pronunciation difficulties as well as their use of idiomatic English. The intensive practice with more difficult daily and academic situations is supplemented by guided listening of recorded materials to improve listening skills in both academic and personal settings. *Credits do not apply toward graduation. Prerequisite: ESL 081 or placement based on assessment and recommendation of an academic advisor 4/0/0 Course fee charged
