Advanced Public Speaking builds on the foundations developed in SPCH 115, Public Speaking, including competence in creating and delivering an effective speech. Students will perform a variety of speech presentations in order to meet the challenges of personal, civic, and professional life. Possible speech presentations include individual and group projects focused on rhetorical theory, speech writing and oral presentations. Students may be required to participate in service learning activities. (Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or higher in SPCH 115)
