This course is designed for the music student with a strong working knowledge of music theory. Students will develop a technique of harmonization with triads, and some common seventh chords in root position and inversion. Figured bass will be discussed. Students will be able to construct four-part chorale harmonization's. Popular applications, and basic concepts in harmonic analysis will also be discussed. Attendance at an on-campus concert will be required. (Prerequisite: A grade of "C" orhigher in MUSI 102)
