The student will master the fundamental skills, techniques and practices of skin and scuba diving. The course requires the initial purchasing of mask, snorkel, fins, wet suit hood, boots and gloves. The student may opt to become nationally certified with a professional association of diving instruction. This will require the rental of some other equipment, i.e., a full wet suit and any certification fees.
