This course is designed to prepare the dental auxiliary student to provide patient education to individuals and groups, focusing on the patient as a whole person, analyzing the patients' lifestyles, values, behavioral patterns and the environment in which the patient lives. The course takes the student through a process regarding the development, implementation and evaluation of dental health education programs in a number of settings. (Prerequisite: ADEC-110)
