Students will evaluate their potential success in the field of public relations through a broad examination of the topic including the definition, history, function, tools and techniques. Students will investigate the characteristics of the practitioner, the organizational structures and the variety of job opportunities, and they will practice the necessary basic skills and meet practicing professionals. NOTE: This course is offered in the Fall term only. ( Prerequisites: ENGL 121, COMM 101, COMM 102)
