Prerequisite: ENGL102 or ENGL104 or permission of instructor Study of the Middle Ages, the Early Modern (Renaissance), and the Restoration and the 18th century periods of British literature, including fiction, poetry, and drama. Students will read and evaluate materials from the time periods, developing a greater awareness of the genres, the movements, and key literary figures. Offered in fall of odd years. (2004)
