This course is to introduce and reinforce theory, techniques and application in the handling of dental materials. Information and manipulation will be taught to a preclinical laboratory proficiency level and will be explored further in the Dental Specialties course. Expanded functions as listed in New Jersey Dental Auxiliary's Act are included whenever applicable to reinforce the importance of understanding the utilization of dental materials.
