Prerequisites: CHEM102, CRIM101, CRIM201, CRIM202 Designed to give students the opportunity to apply formal education to an actual work situation with a criminal justice agency under the supervision of the course instructor. The completed internship (minimum of 135 hours) prepares the student for continued academic studies at a four-year college or university or preparedness for selected positions with a criminal justice agency. The internship site must be an agency of police, courts or the correctional system approved by the Business department chairperson. (2007)
