Description:
-
A thorough development of systems of equations and trigonometric functions and their applications along with an introduction to analytic geometry (with an emphasis on the conic sections), sequences, series, and mathematical induction. The course builds on the concept of a function developed in MAT171 and extends coverage to the theory and applications of trigonometry and topics in analytic geometry, Gibbs Notation vector algebra, and polar coordinate systems.
