The first semester of a two-semester college elementary Spanish sequence for beginning non-native students of Spanish. The text and ancillary materials provide a thorough four skills approach: speaking, reading, writing, and understanding spoken Spanish. This course is not intended for students whose native language is Spanish. Prerequisite: ENL020 and ENL050 or satisfactory basic skills assessment score / 4 credits. Offered in the Fall.
