Students will explore various aspects of alcoholism and its treatment in an effort to develop the basic skills necessary for counselors to effectively work with persons affected by this disease. Students will be involved with simulated experiences that parallel the recovery process and will be provided with various helping skill options to assist those suffering with alcoholism.
