Previously acquired knowledge, skills and values applicable to comprehensive dental hygiene care are reviewed. Components of the dental hygiene process of care presented in Dental Hygiene II are applied in a clinical setting. The primary focus of this course is for students to increase and refine their skills in the areas of assessment, dental hygiene diagnosis, care planning, implementation and evaluation while providing comprehensive care to patients of various population groups in a safe and ethical manner. Prerequisite: DEN121 and DEN126 / 4 credits.
