This course introduces the student to sculptural processes by exploring a variety of materials and technical approaches. Instruction will focus on the basic elements of sculptural form and composition through the processes of placement, movement, balancing of masses, and spatial definition. (4 studio hours plus 2 additional hours arranged) Prerequisite: None / 3 credits; may be repeated once for credit. Offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer.
