This basic conversational German course is designed to introduce the non-native speaker of German the four basic skills necessary to develop a working knowledge of German: understanding, speaking, reading, and writing. The emphasis is on speaking and understanding spoken German. Prerequisite: ENL050 or satisfactory basic skills assessment score / 3 credits. Offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer.
