Introduction to the field of graphic design, including typography, layout and general graphic techniques. Fundamental studio projects provide investigation and proficiency in handling media and preparing graphics for advertising and other design purposes. It is highly recommended that students have some computer experience. (4 studio hours plus 2 additional hours arranged) Prerequisite: ART214 or ART205 or ART210; ART130 is recommended / 3 credits. Offered in the Fall and Spring.
