An introductory course in watercolor painting with an emphasis on color mixing, paint techniques, and pictorial composition. Students will have an opportunity to develop an understanding and awareness of the materials and subject possibilities of watercolor painting as a means of personal expression. (4 studio hours plus 2 additional hours arranged) Prerequisite: ART100 / 3 credits. Offered in the Fall.
