Through a progression of exercises, the student will develop skills in the craft of writing for the stage. Techniques for character development, authentic dialogue, dramatic conflict, scene building, stage composition, and movement in space and time will be taught. All work will be read aloud and discussed. Some work will be acted. Students are expected to produce written work. Theatre elective. One three-hour class a week. 3 credits Spring; Day only
