TranscriptionThis course includes a unique combination of authentic physician dictation, coordinated readings and exercises by medical specialty, and supplementary information vital to every medical transcriptionist. Dictated reports, including chart notes, consultations, history and physical examinations, emergency room reports, and procedure notes are transcribed using word processing software and state-of-the-art transcription equipment. Student must receive a grade of "C" or better and obtain a keyboarding speed of 45 wpm to progress to MAA 73 . Pre- or co-requisite : OFC 14, MAA 70, and OFC 20 with a grade of "C" or better or permission of the instructor. Three class hours a w eek.Instructional Support Fee applies3 credits Fa
