StrategyTechniques and procedures of firefighting with emphasis on the fire officer's role at the fire scene. Emphasis is placed on today' s incident command system for successful control of firefighting personnel and equipment. Topics of discussion will include: methods of extinguishing fires in different types of buildings, life safety procedures, rekindling prevention, and overall fire ground objectives under the control of the incident commander .
