IDesigned for students majoring in science and engineering, this course covers measurements and dimensional analysis, the structure of matter, nomenclature, formulas, chemical equations, moles and stoichiometry, thermochemistry, the gas laws, and the quantum model of the atom. The laboratory component provides applications of concepts covered in lecture.
