ChildThis course is intended primarily for those people planning to work with children. Emphasis is on the nature of artistic expression and how to provide an atmosphere that encourages growth, creativity and imagination. Practical studio experiences using art materials to make crayon resists, collages, puppets, papier mache, print making techniques and other projects will be taught. Students will examine the developmental patterns of children at various age levels through short readings and films. Three class hours a week. Instructional Support Fee applies3 credits Fall, Spring
