Prerequisite: none This course is designed to provide a student with an understanding of the nursing process, care planning and care mapping. Problem solving and the steps of the nursing process will be reviewed with practice in the formulation of care plans. Examples and case studies will be used to assist the student in utilizing patient observations to identify variances from established care maps.
