3 laboratory hours 3 Credits Prerequisite: PHY 1053 Co-requisite: Students are strongly advised to take PHY 1054 before or concurrently with this lab. This course is a companion to PHY 1054 and includes comprehensive experiments, data collection and interpretation to illustrate concepts and principles related to oscillations and waves, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism. Principles of optics are demonstrated through the use of mirrors, prisms and lenses.
