Prerequisite: EMS 2656. Corequisite: EMS 2619. This course is designed to give the student handson practice in the lab setting for using equipment and skills related to those topics presented in the didactic portion of Medical Emergencies II. Emphasis will be on Neurology, Endocrinology, Allergies and Anaphylaxis, Gastroenterology, Renal, Urology, Toxicology, Hematology, Environmental Conditions, Infections and Communicable Diseases, Pediatrics and Geriatrics, and Acute Intervention for the Chronic Care Patient.
