40 hours. Prerequisite: State Certificate of Compliance or Fire Inspector Certification or registered police officer. A study of the laws pertaining to arson and explosives to include identification and knowledge of explosives and incendiary devices. Emphasis is placed on interviews, statements and reports, interrogation and presenting the arson case in the courtroom.
