This course deals with major areas of consideration, including the juvenile delinquent in society, significant problem areas in juvenile delinquency, the causal context of crime and delinquency, plus treatment and control of delinquency. It includes divergent philosophies, treatment strategies, social ramifications and trends. The course provides for practical exposure, including visits from appropriately experienced personnel and field trips to different juvenile agencies in the area.
