8 contact hours: 4 lecture hours, 4 laboratory hours. This course is designed to teach job entry skills in the diagnosis and repair of drivability problems. Topics covered include engine performance and electrical and computer system operations. Emphasis is placed on manufacturers' diagnostic charts and advanced diagnostic equipment. Use of scanners on both carburetor and fuel injected vehicles will be addressed.
