Prerequisite: Admission to program. A course designed to explore principles of biochemical reactions used for the diagnostic evaluation of human physiology. Procedures for quantitation of electrolytes, proteins, carbohydrates, hormones, lipids, enzymes and drugs will be emphasized and the implications of these substances in health and disease will be stressed.
