Prerequisite: Pass CPT. Introduction to electronics explores the essential theory and applications of DC and AC circuits. Topics covered are: electrical quantities and units, resistors, switches, batteries, conductors, series circuits, parallel circuits, series parallel circuits magnetism, the sine wave, capacitance, inductance, and transformers, four class hours and three computer-assisted instruction (CAI) lab hours.
