Prerequisites: DESL 2100, DESL 1800, DESC 2830, DESL 1200, DES 2100, DES 1800, DES 1200. Continued practice in all the skill areas of the dental assisting curriculum. Supervised externships will be used in private dental offices and clinical settings. The student will apply all skills and competencies developed and increase his/her capabilities and proficiencies in dental assisting.
