Prerequisite: AERC 0199 and AERC 0691. An advanced course in the theory of electronic engine control, component identification and diagnostic methods for the service and repair of engine performance problems. Students will acquire hands-on experience in the use of modern diagnostic tools, to include: scan tools, exhaust gas analyzers, digital storage oscilloscopes and chassis dynamometers. Lab Fee.
