AERC 0692 - Heating and Air Conditioning Systems

Prerequisite: AERC 0010 and AERC 0691. A theoretical and practical application course of air conditioning and heating system operation including Title IV of the Clean Air Act. Students will receive "hands-on" instruction in industry-accepted practices for recovery and recycling of refrigerants, service, repair, testing, and diagnosis of automotive air conditioning systems using state of the art tools and equipment. Successful completion of this course satisfies the current NATEF tasks and hours requirement for "Heating and Air Conditioning" (A7). Lab Fee.
