Prerequisite: AERC 0010 and AERC 0691. A theoretical and practical application course of study that focuses on the automotive fuel, ignition and emission control systems. Major topics to include engine operation, solid state ignition, electronic fuel injection and the use of comprehensive engine systems tests to isolate and repair common engine performance and emission system malfunctions.
