Prerequisites: completion of a 100-level course in CIS, plus knowledge of Pascal or C. This course introduces fundamental concepts of interactive graphics oriented toward computer-aided design systems. Such systems emerge in engineering, architecture, and manufacturing. Topics include computer data structures for representation of twoand three-dimensional objects and algorithms for definition, modification, and display of these objects in applications. This course will also discuss a selection of special topics in interactive graphics. Effective Until: Summer 2006
